DWQ-2024-XXXXPERMIT TERMINATION
Notice of Intent to Terminate. On September 10, 2024, the Division of Water Quality (DWQ) received a request from SKF Salt Lake City (SKF) to terminate the Permit. According to the request,
SKF no longer has equipment on site that would facilitate a discharge of process water previously covered by the permit to Magna Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW). As of September
4, 2024, the Permittee no longer discharges categorical process water to the POTW. As such, a permit is no longer necessary at this time, and therefore, DWQ is terminating the Permit.
The DWQ Director has determined that the Permit termination is appropriate and thus has prepared this Notice of Intent to Terminate, in accordance with Utah Administrative Code R317-8-6.
After the Permit has been terminated, discharge of process wastewater is no longer permitted.
