The Hyrum City Wastewater Treatment Plant (HWTP) is located at 1900 West 4400 South, Hyrum, Cache County, Utah. HWTP serves the City of Hyrum, with the outfall located at latitude 41°39'06"
and longitude 111°52'50". The design capacity is 2 million gallons per day (MGD), with an average flow of approximately 1.4 MGD. HTWP serves a population of approximately 10,000. HWTP
discharges into an unnamed irrigation ditch, which flows to Spring Creek and then to the Little Bear River during the non-irrigation season of November through March. Type I Effluent
Reuse water is land applied during the irrigation months of April through October to the East Bench of Hyrum City via the irrigation system or to the irrigation storage reservoir.PUBLIC
COMMENTSDuring the public comment period provided under Utah Administrative Code (UAC) R317-8-6.5, any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request
a public hearing if no hearing has already been scheduled. A request for a public hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues proposed to be raised in the hearing.
All comments will be considered in making the final decision and shall be answered as provided in UAC R317-8-6.12. Public comments are invited any time prior to the deadline of the close
