On May29, Glen Carnahan of Alpha Engineering submitted acomplete 401 Water Quality Certification Request to the Utah Division of Water Quality (DWQ) on behalf ofKade Bringhurst from
the City of St. George (Project Proponent) for the Graveyard Wash Reservoir Project (proposed Project) in Washington County. The Reasonable Period of Time for DWQ to issue decision
is by November 3, 2024.
Enclosed you will find the Draft Section 401 Water Quality Certification for the proposed Project, that will be on Public NoticeuntilJuly 30, 2024. The Public Notice announcement is
enclosed and can be found on the Division website https://deq.utah.gov/public-notices-archive/water-quality-public-notices.After considering public comment, the Director may execute
