SAID “PERMIT” REFERS TO THE UPDES PERMIT AND THE FACT SHEET STATEMENT OF BASIS (INCLUDING TOTAL MAXIMUM DAILY LOADS (TMDL’S)) IF APPLICABLE, AS PER SECTION 303(D) OF THE FEDERAL CLEAN WATER ACT (CWA)]. TheTWWTP facility's domestic waste water flow process is as follows: influent head works with micro-screenand grit filter, a primary clarifier, two aerator basins containing four aerators each, two secondary clarifiersoperated in parallel, and ultra-violet (UV) disinfection prior to any discharges. The discharging outfall intothe Malad River is located on site at latitude 40" 41' 55" and longitude ll2" 19' 42.38". The permit alsoincludes Biosolids and Storm Water provisions as appropriatePUBLIC COMMENTSDuring the public comment period provided under Utah Administrative Code (UAC) R317-8-6.5, any interested person may submit written comments on the draft permit and may request a public hearing if no hearing has already been scheduled. A request for a public hearing shall be in writing and shall state the nature of the issues proposed to be raised in the hearing. All comments will be considered in making the final decision and shall be answered as provided in UAC R317-8-6.12. Public comments are invited any time prior to the deadline of the close of business on August 12, 2022.
