Said “permit” refers to UPDES Permit and the Fact Sheet and Statement of Basis (including the total maximum daily loads (TMDL’s)) if applicable, as per Section 303 (d) of the Federal Clean Water Act (CWA).PERMIT INFORMATIONOperator Name:Santaquin cityContact:Jason CallawayPosition: OperatorPhone Number:801-754-3211Permit NumberUT0026000 Project Name:Santaquin Water Reclamation Facility Mailing and Facility Address:275 West Main Street Santaquin, Utah 84655 Physical Location:1215 N Center St, Santaquin, UT 84655BACKGROUND The Santaquin Water Reclamation Facility (SWRF) is a membrane bioreactor (MBR) plant that replaced the previously existing lagoon system. SWRF will treats all of the municipal wastewater in Santaquin City. The treatment facility has a design flow rate of 1.0 MGD and consists of a rotary drum screen, anoxic basins, aerobic basins, MBR treatment followed by ultraviolet disinfection. The reclaimed water produced by the MBR meets Type I reuse standards and will be utilized in the City’s existing pressurized irrigation system during the irrigation season and will be stored in the existing winter storage ponds during the winter months. The two winter storage ponds are located about 1.5 miles west of the new SWRF.PUBLIC COMMENTSPublic comments are invited any time prior to the deadline of the close of business on DATE. After considering public comment the Director may execute the permit issuance, revise it or abandon it. The permit is available for public review at https://deq.utah.gov/water-quality/water-quality-public-notices.
