Free Product Extraction System Installation

Atlas Technical Consultants (Atlas), plans to begin remedial activities associated with
the installation of a free product extraction system at the Bloomington Market retail
petroleum outlet located at 141 W. Brigham Road, St. George, Utah.

The objective of remedial activities is to remove free phase gasoline present on the
water table beneath the site. The remedial effort will require the installation of three
recovery wells, a 6x8 foot remediation building (Tough Shed), and trenching. A free
product pump will be installed in each well and the extraction pumps will be connected
to the equipment via underground conveyance lines. The equipment shed will contain
the electronic equipment that operates the pumps. The product removed will be stored
in a 250-gallon capacity aboveground tank that will be emptied monthly or when
necessary. The remediation system installation effort will likely take approximately three
weeks and will begin on April 29, 2024, and should be completed by May 17, 2024.
