Dear Sir/Madam:
In accordance with the provisions of 40 CFR $63.9(h) and 40 CFR $63.10890(a), Victaulic Company-
Horizon Facility is making formal notification that its existing small foundry located in Nephi, Utah is in
compliance with the pollution prevention management practices for metallic scrap in $63.10885(a), binder
formulations in $63.10886 and mercury in $63.10885(b).
Compliance Certification for Scrap Management:
This facility has prepared, and will operate by, written material specifications for metallic scrap according to
$63.10885(a)(l) and this facility has prepared, and will operate by, written material specifications for general
iron and steel scrap according to $63.10885(a)(2).
Compliance Certification for Binder Formulations:
This facility complies with the no methanol requirement for the catalyst portion of each binder chemical
formulation for a furfuryl alcohol warm box mold or core making line according to $63.10886.
Compliance Certification for Mercury Management:
This facility complies with the requirements for scrap that does not contain motor vehicle scrap in
accordance with $63. I 0885(bX4).
