Dear Mr. Bird:
Huntington Power Plant is subject to the requirements of 40 CFR $63 Subpart UUUUU. Specifically, 40
CFR 563.10006fi) requires the source to report the results of performance tune-ups within 60 days after
the completion of the tune-up. This letter is sent to satisff the reporting requirements of 40 CFR
s66.1 00060).
Huntington Unit 2 completed the performance tune-up on December 4,2023. At the conclusion of the
optimization tune-up, the unit controlled NOx and CO below permitted values over its operational range.
The boiler optimization tune-up report is archived at the plant and is available upon request.
