PacifiCorp Hunter Power Plant SO2 and NOx PAL Emissions Report for the Reporting
Period July 1,2023 through December3l,2023.
Dear Mr. Bryce Bird:
PursuanttoConditionll.B.l.ioftheTitleVOperatingPermit(PermitNo. 1500101004)forHunterpower
Plant, and 40 CFR Subpart 52.21(aa)(14), submission of this SO2 and NOx PAL Emissions Report is for
the period ending December 31,2023. The PacifiCorp, Hunter Power Plan! has been in compliance with
the glant-wide applicability limitation (PAL) of So2 emission limit of 5,537.5 tons per year and the pAL
of NOx emission limit of I 1,041 tons per year, based on l2-month rolling total for tire entire Hunter plant
from all point sources and fugitive emissions throughout the reporting piriod.
Permit Req uirement 11.8.1.i.3 :
Reporting:
In addition to the reporting requirement described in Provision I.S.2 of this permit, the permittee
shall comply with 40 CFR Subpart 52.21(n)(14), Reporting and notification requirements for
PALs.
As per 40 CFR Subpart 52.21(aaXl4Xil Semi-annual renort:

Item (c) - All data used to calculate the monthly SO2 and NOx emission totals is at the facility
and available for review. SO2 and NOx 12 Month Rolling Total (MRT) emissions were

Generating Units l, z, &3- January 2023 thruDecember 2023
So2 and Nox Tons per Month (TPM) values, are the reported values to the
EPA's Acid Rain Emissions database, Provision II.B.l.i.l (a).
Units #1, #2 and #3 emergency diesel-fired generators, emissions were calculated
by multiplying the appropriate so2 and Nox emission factors from EpA Ap-42
and logged hours of operation, Provision II.B.l.i.l(b).r Units #l & #2 emergency diesel-fired fire pumps, emissions were calculated by
multiplying the appropriate so2 and Nox emission factors from EpA Ap-42 and,
logged hours of operation, Provision II.B.l.i.l(c).

Item (d) - There were no modifications or emission units added during the preceding reporting
period.
Item (e) - No deviations. During any CEMS monitoring system malfunction, SO2 and NOx
emission data were substituted in accordance with 40 CFR Part 75 requirements. Substituted
data was included in determining the 12 MRT for SO2 and NOx. See attachment titled *CEMS
Monitoring Unavailability" for a summary of the duration, cause and corrective actions.
Item (f) - There was no shutdown of any monitoring system during boiler operation during the
reporting period.
