for Tesoro Refining & Marketing Company LLC's Salt Lake City Refinery and Tesoro Logistics
Operations, LLC.
This report includes information required by Approval Order DAQE-ANI03350075-18, and Title V
Operating Permit 3 5 0000800 1, conditions II.B. 5.a-f.
This report summarizes inspections for the semi-annual period when a water seal was dry or
otherwise breached, or when a drain cap or plug was missing or improperly installed, or when
cracks, gaps, or other items were identified that could result in VOC emissions, and includes the
corrective actions taken.
While it is not required by NSPS Subpart QQQ rules, the refinery has a practice of inspecting
selected drains via Method 2l to identit/ detectible emissions and conducting timely repairs. This
work practice was established to go beyond rule requirements and minimize emissions from refinery
sewers. Results from this monitoring are included in this report. This Method 2l inspection
method exceeds all applicable regulatory requirements.
