Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) received the White Mesa Uranium
Mill, Radioactive Materials License UT 1900479, Semi-Annual Effluent Monitoring Report for (July 1, 2022
through December 31, 2022), dated February 24, 2023 on February 28, 2023 (DRC-2023-001925). A
revised Tab I dated March 27, 2023 was received on March 30, 2023 (DRC-2023-002736). This report
details the monitoring efforts to detect releases of radioactive contamination from the White Mesa Uranium
Mill through all effluent streams, except groundwater.
The Division has completed its review of the report and hereby accepts the presented information.
The review is now closed.
