RE: The May 4, 2022, 1st Quarter, 2022 Chloroform Monitoring Report, Closeout Letter,
Groundwater Quality Discharge Permit Number UGW370004
Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) has completed the review of the
May 4, 2022, 1st Quarter, 2022 Chloroform Monitoring Report (Report).
The review was based on compliance with the:
1. The EFR Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) June 5, 2019 (Revision. 7.5)
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit). Permit version that was signed
on March 19, 2019.
3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan (GCAP) Revision 0, dated
September 14, 2015.
The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, QAP, and
GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the May 4, 2022, 1st Quarter, 2022 Chloroform Monitoring
Report.
