Dear Ms. Weinel:

On May 10, 2022, the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) performed an audit
of the records of 11e.(2) byproduct material from in-situ leach recovery facilities disposed at the White Mesa
Uranium Mill. The audit included all records from 2021, and the portion of 2022 through May 10, the date
of the inspection. The purpose of the inspection was to evaluate the record keeping practices employed as
compared to those specified in Standard Operating Procedure PBL-10 and in the mill’s Radioactive Material
License Number UT 1900479.

The Division has completed its review of the referenced documents and, finding no omissions, takes no
exception to the information presented therein. The review is, therefore, closed.
