On June 9, 2021, the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division) approved the
surety amount of $20,824,860.00 for the White Mesa Uranium Mill and requested an updated surety instrument in that amount. Having received the revised surety bond rider on August 13, 2021, the Division’s review of the 2021 surety for the White Mesa Mill is now closed.
