Dear Ms. Weinel:
On March 26, 2018, a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control completed
an inspection at the White Mesa Uranium Mill in Blanding, Utah. The inspection was an examination of the
activities and conditions reported at the Mill as they relate to compliance with Utah’s Radiation Control Rules and the conditions of the referenced license and permit. The inspection was performed to ascertain whether all pertinent requirements of the license, permit and rules were met, whether the monitoring
performed revealed necessary corrective measures and whether any such measures were taken.

Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items reviewed were found to be in compliance with the applicable rules and requirements for this license and permit.
