(EFR) 225 Union Blvd., Suite 600 Lakewood, CO 80228 RE: Inspection of Primary Radon Barrier Construction, Cell 2 Utah Radioactive Material License Number UT1900479 Dear Ms. Weinel: On October 17, 2016, an inspection was conducted at the White Mesa Uranium Mill near Blanding, Utah by a representative of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control. Results of the inspection were discussed with plant management at the conclusion of the inspection. The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted in your facility as they relate to compliance with the Utah Radiation Control Rules and the conditions of the license. The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measurements and observations by the inspector. Based on the findings documented during the inspection, the items reviewed were found to be in compliance with the Utah Radiation Control Rules and requirements for this license.
