License Number UT 1900479: Completion Review Dear Ms. Weinel:
In a document dated December 23, 2019, Energy Fuel Resources (USA) Inc. (EFRI) submitted an
application to amend Radioactive Material License (RML)Number UT 1900479. This application was submitted to the Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (Division). The purpose of this amendment request is to allow EFRI to receive and process an alternate feed material from Union Pacific Railroad Moffat Tunnel Water Treatment Plant in Winter Park, Colorado.

After receiving the application, the Division performed a “Completion Review” of the application. In a Completion Review, Division staff verifies that all of the information (i.e. maps, drawing, tables, figures, calculations, & etc.) needed to begin the “Technical Review” has been submitted and/or available to Division staff.

Division staff has concluded that the application contains the necessary information to begin the Technical Review. If during the Technical Review, Division staff determines additional information is required then that information will be requested through the interrogatory process. At the completion of the Technical Review the Division will prepare a Technical Evaluation and Environmental Assessment to document the Division’s findings.
