Following our conversation of yesterday afternoon, this is to confirm our request for an extension of time to submit the Annual
Technical Evaluation ofthe White Mesa Mill's tailings system. We are still missing the information on the cell dike movement
monitors because the Utah registered surveyor we have used for years has recently retired and we were forced to retain
another service out of Richfield, Utah. This has delayed the receipt of the information. Once we receive the information from
this survey we plan on entering all the historical information in to a data base which will allow for a better evaluation of the
information. We are requesting an extension to October 1, 2009 for submittal of the Annual Technical Evaluation for this past
year.
