SUBJECT: Submission Extension Date for the Annual Technical Evaluation Report (ATER)
White Mesa Mill Tailings Management System August 2008 through July 2009
On August 26, 2009 we received an email from you on the subject that requested an extension to
the submission date of Sept. 1, 2009 to October 1, 2009 for the ATER. The email mentioned that
DUSA is still missing the information on the cell dike movement monitors, because the Utah
registered surveyor normally used has recently retired, and DUSA was forced to retain another
surveyor. This has delayed the receipt of the information. DUSA also explained plans to take the
information from this survey, and enter all the historical information in to a data base which will
allow for a better evaluation of the information.
