The As-Built report for wells MW-36 and MW-37 is due on or before June 30, 2011. Until the As-Built is approved, Section 6.2.4 of the DUSA QAP gives DUSA some latitude on the sampling equipment they choose to use for sampling (bailer, non-dedicated bailer, dedicated pump, or non-dedicated pump). After the As-Built report is approved. Part I.E.ll is in effect for those wells. The intent of Part I.E.ll of the Permit, is for DUSA to notify the Executive Secretary when they wish to change an analytical procedure or analytical method for analysis from the method specified in Table 1 of the DUSA QAP. DUSA is also not allowed to change the equipment or design of the monitoring wells without approval from the Executive Secretary. file://C:\Documents and Settings\Pgoble\Local Settings\Temp\XPgrpwise\4DF0A650EQD... 6/9/2011 Page 2 of 2 Therefore, DUSA is free to use any of the sampling equipment specified in Section 6.2.4 ofthe DUSA QAP, as long as they are made of inert materials.
