Re: Well Drilling and Installation Notice, White Mesa Mill Permit UGW370004
Pursuant to Utah Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (the "Permit"), Denison Mines
(USA) Corp. ("Denison") is hereby notifying the Department of Enviromnental Quality that the White
Mesa Uranium Mill will begin drilling of two new groundwater monitor wells on August 31,2010.
The two new wells, MW-34 and MW-35, will be installed consistent with Part I.H.6(a) of the Permit
which requires that two new compliance monitoring wells be installed prior to placement of tailings
and wastewater in tailings Cell 4B, currently under construction. This notice complies with Part
1 .H.6(e) of the Permit, which requires that Denison provide at least a 7 calendar day notice to allow
the Executive Secretary to observe all drilling and well installation activities.
