Dear Ms. Weinel: The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (“Division”) has completed the review of the February 25, 2019, 4th Quarter, 2018 Chloroform Monitoring Report. (“Report”).
The review was based on compliance with the following: 1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (“QAP”). Revision 7.4, dated July 23, 2018.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (“Permit”). Permit version that was signed on March 19, 2019. 3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan (“GCAP”) Revision 0, dated September 14, 2015.
The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, QAP, and GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the February 25, 2019 4th Quarter, 2018 Chloroform Monitoring Report.
