Dear Ms. Weinel: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (“Division”) has completed the review of the May 13, 2020, 1st Quarter, 2020 Chloroform Monitoring Report (“Report”). The review was based on
compliance with the following:
1. The EFR Quality Assurance Plan (“QAP”), dated June 5, 2019 (Revision. 7.5) 2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (“Permit”). Permit version signed on March 19, 2019.
3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan (“GCAP”) Revision 0,
dated September 14, 2015. The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, QAP, and GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the May 13, 2020, 1st Quarter, 2020 Chloroform Monitoring
Report.
