Hansen Director December 7, 2021 Kathy Weinel, Quality Assurance Manager Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. 225 Union Blvd., Suite 600 Lakewood, CO 80228 RE: Energy Fuels Resources, White Mesa Uranium Mill, December 1, 2021, Request for an Extension of Time to Submit the Source Assessment Report for Groundwater Monitoring Well MW-30, Utah Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 Dear Ms. Weinel: The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (DWMRC) has completed review of the Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. (EFRI) December 1, 2021 letter (Letter) requesting an extension time to submit the Source Assessment Report (SAR) for monitoring well MW-30 at the White Mesa Uranium Mill. Per the Letter, an additional 30 days is needed due to “several concurrent due dates and the 2021 holiday schedule.” The Letter requests that the due date for the MW-30 SAR be extended from December 28, 2021, to January 28, 2022. Based on review, the extension request is approved. Please submit the MW-30 SAR on or before January 28, 2022. If you have any questions, please call Tom Rushing at (801) 536-0080.
