The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (“Division”) has completed the review of the November 12, 2018, 3rd Quarter, 2018 Nitrate Monitoring Report for the Nitrate Contamination Investigation. The review was based on compliance with the following: 1. Corrective Action Plan for Nitrate White Mesa Uranium Mill near Blanding, Utah, May 7, 2012, (“CAP”) approved December 12, 2012. 2. The EFR Quality Assurance Plan, August 18, 2017, Revision. 7.3 (“QAP”). The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the CAP and QAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the November 12, 2018, 3rd Quarter, 2018 Nitrate Monitoring Report.
