Dear Ms. Weinel: The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control (“Division”) has completed a review of
the 2018 Annual Seep and Springs Sampling Report dated November 9, 2018 (“Report”).
The review was based on compliance with the following documents: 1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (“QAP”). Revision 7.3, dated
August 15, 2017.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (“Permit”). Permit version that was signed on January 19, 2018. 3. Sampling Plan for Seeps and Springs In the Vicinity of the White Mesa Uranium Mill. Revision 2. July 8, 2016 (“Plan”).

The Division’s review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, QAP, and Plan. This letter constitutes a closeout of the 2018 Annual Seep and Springs Sampling Report. If you have any questions, please contact Dean Henderson at [phone].
