The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of Revision 3.4 of
Standard Operating Procedure PBL-10 which governs receipt of 11e.(3) material from in-situ leach uranium recovery facilities for disposal at the White Mesa Mill. The proposed change aligns the procedure with recent amendments to Title 49 of the Code of Federal Regulations and incorporates, by reference, NRC Regulatory Guide 8.3 Revision 1. The Division concurs with the proposed revisions.
Therefore, Revision R-3.4 of Procedure PBL-10 is hereby approved.
