Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit Number UGW370004 Closeout Letter Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the February 21, 2018 4th Quarter, 2017 Chloroform Monitoring Report (Report). The review was based on compliance with the:
1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (QAP). Revision 7.3, dated
August 15, 2017. 2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit). Permit version that was signed on August 24, 2012. 3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan (GCAP) Revision 0, dated
September 14, 2015.
Based on the Division’s review, the Report is in compliance with the Permit, QAP and GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the February 21, 2018 4th Quarter, 2017 Chloroform Monitoring Report.
