Closeout Letter, Ground Water Quality Discharge Permit Number UGW370004 Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the May 19,
2018 1st Quarter, 2018 Chloroform Monitoring Report (Report). The review was based on compliance with the following: 1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Revision 7.3, dated
August 15, 2017.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit) signed on August 24, 2012. 3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan (GCAP), Revision 0, dated
September 14, 2015.
The Division review concluded that the Report was in compliance with the Permit, QAP and GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the May 19, 2018 1st Quarter, 2018 Chloroform Monitoring Report. (Over)
