The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the 2017 Annual
Tailings Cells Wastewater Sampling Report (Report). The review was based on compliance with the
following:
1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Revision 7.2,
dated June 6, 2012.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit) signed on August 24, 2012.
3. Tailings and slimes Drain Sampling Program (Plan), Revision 2.1 dated July 30, 2012.
The Report is in compliance with the Permit, QAP and Plan. This letter constitutes a closeout of the
2017 Annual Tailings Cells Wastewater Sampling Report.
