Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the Energy Fuels
Resources (EFR) March 10, 2017 Transmittal of Plan and Time Schedule under Utah Ground Water
Discharge Permit UGW370004 Part I.G.4(c) White Mesa Mill (EFR Plan). The EFR Plan addresses
exceedances of Ground Water Compliance Limits (GWCLs) for selenium, sulfate and uranium in monitoring well MW-31. Monitoring Well MW-31 is in out-of-compliance status for the listed parameters in accordance with the Permit Part I.G.2. These parameters are required to undergo corrective action as
specified in the Permit Part I.G.4.

The table below summarizes the preliminary findings in the EFR Plan:

A Source Assessment Report which will include a more specific source investigation and statistical analysis
in accordance with the EFR Plan Section 4 will need to be submitted to this office within 90 days after
approval of the EFR Plan.
