(EFR) White Mesa Uranium Mill Abandonment Plan for MW-3 (Abandonment Plan) dated November 14, 2016. The Abandonment Plan was submitted in response to the Division’s November 8, 2016 letter. Based on review of the Abandonment Plan, it appears that the abandonment of monitoring well MW-3 will be conducted according to requirements in Utah Administrative Code R655-4-14.8 and R655-4-14.10 and will be conducted as soon as possible after receipt of this approval. In accordance with the Abandonment Plan, EFR is required to provide notice to the Division 14 days prior to abandonment activities. EFR is also required to provide the driller’s report and a letter report within 60 days after completion of the abandonment activities. Based on the review, the Abandonment Plan is hereby approved.
