Anderson Director MEMORANDUM DRC- Zoig-OO-5440 TO: THROUGH: FROM: DATE: SUBJECT: File C-2014-99 " '"Z.t r k /Phil Goble, Section Manager Russell J. Topham, P.E. March 16,2016 Roberts Pond Remediation. Radioactive Materials License UT1900479 (License) - Energy Fuels Resources (USA) Inc. (EFR) White Mesa Mill, Blanding, Utah 1 have reviewed the as-built plan provided by Energy fuels on March 2, 2016. I have also checked to see that the grading plan matches the work completed in the field. With the exception that the field crew installed a berm around the filled pond to keep traffic off the graded surface, I find that the plan reflects the field conditions. Furthermore, the work copmpleted meets the expectations expressed in the plan approval extended July 17, 2015 as modified and approved on December 9, 2015. The Memorandum dated October 20, 2014 addressed all other aspects of the remedial effort at Roberts Pond. Surety is in place in the event additional contamination is discovered beyond that already addressed. Recommendation: The Director should close out the Roberts Pond Remediation project. 195 North 1950 West • Salt Lake City, UT Mailing Address: P.O.
