Dear Ms. Weinel,
Inspection Module SSS-01 was conducted September 24, 2014, by the Division of Radiation Control
(DRC) at the White Mesa Mill. The inspection was a verification of compliance with Utah Rules,
10CFR20, NRC Regulatory Guides 8.30 and 8.31 and White Mesa Mill (the Mill) procedures as they
pertain to Surveys, Sources and Security at the Mill. The inspection consisted of a review of records,
direct observations and interviews with the Radiation Protection Staff as well as other personnel on
site.
All items inspected met applicable regulatory requirements and site procedures and no further action
is required in regard to this inspection.
