Water Quality Discharge Permit UGW370004: Approval
Dear Ms. Weinel:
On October 6, 2014, the Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) received the drawings
detailing the intended concrete cover responding to Phase I of the Final Nitrate Corrective Action
Plan. DRC personnel reviewed these drawings from the perspective of both engineering and
hydrologic considerations for conformance with the requirements of the Radiation Control Rules
found in Utah Administrative Code, R313. The review also considered agreements and
expectations established in the Final Nitrate Compliance Action Plan. The DRC finds the
drawings to meet the requirements of the cited Rules and Plan. The drawings are, therefore
approved.
