Mesa Uranium Mill: DRC Findings
Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Utah Division of Radiation Control ("DRC") has reviewed the Energy Fuels Resources
(USA) Inc. ("EFR") June 6, 2014 Revised Hydrogeology Report for the White Mesa Uranium Mill
("Report"). The Report was submitted in response to a DRC Request for Information ("RFI")
dated March 26, 2014.
Per review it appears that EFR has expanded the Report to include the requested information. As
you are aware, the Report is required to be submitted with the renewal application for the White
Mesa Uranium Mill Utah Ground Water Discharge Permit, Permit No. UGW370004 ("Permit")
Part I.F. 10.a. As noted in the RFI, it was determined that the information required by the Permit
Part I.F.lO.b. (Well Specific Groundwater Quality) is not required to be submitted with the
Report. This was based on the justification listed in the RFI. Therefore, the current Report
Revision (June 6, 2014) appears appropriate, is approved, and is considered the current version
applicable to the Mill Facility.
