The Inspector also visited BVH-1 and the facility weather station. Observations: The DRC inspector observed: • Proper PPE was being worn by Mill employees within all observed areas of the Mill; • Proper Radiological Posting were being used within all observed areas of the Mill; • OSL badges were appropriately being used by all observed employees at the Mill; • TLDs were being used for general area gamma monitoring around the Mill site. The TLDs were appropriately placed in different working areas around the Mill; • TLDs were being used for Gamma monitoring and Alpha tracks were being for Radon monitoring and BHV-1. They were appropriate placed; and • That the BHV-1 air monitoring station was working and that the site metrological station was working. Deficiencies: None Item 2. Additional Inspection Item: The DRC collected samples of the Fansteel alternate feed material and sent it to it contract laboratory. The material was analyzed for VOCs, SVOCs, and RCRA Metals.
