RE: Addendum to Semi-Annual Effluent Monitoring Report for the period January 1, 2010
through June 30, 2010, DRC Inspection Module EM-01, RML UT1900479.
Dear Ms. Tischler,
The Division of Radiation Control (DRC) has reviewed the addendum to the Semi-Annual
Effluent Monitoring Report (Report) for the White Mesa Mill in Blanding, Utah. During the initial
inspection, one finding was observed that needed to be addressed by the licensee in order to
remain compliant with Utah Rules. Section 5 of the Report, Stack Sampling, stated: "Analytical
data and 2nd quarter 2010 results for Table 8, below, will be provided in a separate addendum to
this report after the Mill receives the stack testing contractor's report and analytical data."
In a letter dated September 27, 2010, the DRC requested that Denison Mines (USA) Corp. submit
an addendum to the Report, including the results of the 2"^* quarter samples, by October 31, 2010.
This addendum was received on October 25, 2010.
There are no deficiencies associated with the Semi-Annual Effluent Monitoring Report for the
Reporting Period January 1, 2010 through June 30, 2010 and the inspection is now considered
closed.
