Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Utah Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control ("Division") has completed the review
of the May 17 ,2017 lst Quarter, 2017 Chloroform Monitoring Report ("Report").
The review was based on compliance with the:
1. White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan ("QAP"). Revision7.3, dated
August 15,2017.
2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 ("Permit"). Permit version that was signed on
August 24,2012.
3. White Mesa Uranium Mill Groundwater Corrective Action Plan ("GCAP") Revision 0, dated
September 14,2015.
The Division's review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, QAP,
and GCAP. This letter constitutes a closeout of the May 17,2OI7 lst Quarter, 2OI7 Chloroform
Monitoring Report.
