Dear Ms. Weinel:
On May 15, 2014, the Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) received the 1st Quarter, 2014
DMT Performance Standards Monitoring Report and Cell 4A and Cell 4B BAT Performance
Standards Monitoring Report (dated May 13, 2014) for the EFR White Mesa Mill near Blanding,
Utah. From the data presented, it appears EFR complied with applicable standards as detailed in
the DMT and BAT Plans.
One open issue remains: ongoing remedial work at Roberts Pond. The DRC has elected to handle
the remedial work as a separate project.
Inasmuch as no other open issues remain, the DRC considers the review of the 1st Quarter, 2014
EFR DMT Performance Standards Monitoring Report and the Cell 4A and Cell 4B BAT
Performance Standards Monitoring Report closed.
