SUBJECT: Compliance: Cell 1 Liner Repairs; Radioactive Materials License UT1900479 (RML)
and Groundwater Discharge Permit (GWDP) UG370004, Energy Fuels Resources, Inc.
(EFR) White Mesa Mill, Blanding, Utah; Closeout
On September 25, 2012 the Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) extended approval of the
Cell 1 Liner Repair project. The DRC elected to keep the file open pending fluid levels in Cell 1
reaching sufficient elevation to provide a 30-day wet test of liner integrity and verify that the liner
repair was successful. On May 30, 2013, the DRC received the First Quarter, 2013 DMT
Performance Standards Monitoring report in which Energy Fuels Resources documented fluid
levels in Cell 1 above the repair section for the entire quarter with no fluid detected in the leak
detection system.
On June 6, 2013 during a site inspection the DRC also verified that solution in Cell 1 was above
the repair elevation of 5613 feet. In light of this information, the Cell 1 Liner Repair project is
closed out.
