Dear Ms. Weinel:
On May 21, 2014, the Utah Division of Radiation Control (DRC) received the drawings detailing
the intended concrete cover responding to Phase I of the Final Nitrate Corrective Action Plan.
Included with those drawings was Revision 12.2 to the Discharge Minimization Plan (the DMT
Plan). The DRC requested revisions to the construction plans, which EFRI submitted on October
3, 2014 and the DRC approved on October 16, 2014. The DRC intended to approve the DMT Plan
revision at the time of approval of the construction plans, but overlooked providing written
approval.
The DRC has reviewed Revision 12.2 to the DMT Plan, and concurs with the changes made
therein. Revision 12.2 to the DMT Plan is, therefore approved.
