Dear Ms. Weinel:
The Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control has completed its review of the 2014 Annual
Tailings Cells Wastewater Sampling Report (Report). The review was based on compliance with the:

1. The White Mesa Uranium Mill Ground Water Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Revision 7.2,
dated June 6, 2012. 2. Groundwater Discharge Permit No. UGW370004 (Permit), signed on August 24, 2012.
3. The Tailings and slimes Drain Sampling Program (Plan) Revision 2.1 dated July 30, 2012.

The Division review concluded that the Report appeared to be in compliance with the Permit, the QAP
and the Plan. This letter constitutes a closeout of the 2014 Annual Tailings Cells Wastewater Sampling Report.
