Dear LeroyAtwoodt: The Division of Drinking Water (the Division) received the following documents on April 16, 2024: The 2024 water line installation drawings and specifications for Paradise Town Water System, stamped and signed by James Flint, P.E., and dated May 11, 2021. The completed application form signed by D. Chris Wight and dated April 11, 2024, formally designates: Jim Flint, P.E., as the Professional Engineer (PE) has direct responsibility for the design of the entire water, and Jim Flint, P.E., as the PE responsible for oversight of the hydraulic analysis of the entire water system. We completed our review of the 2024 water line installation drawings and specifications, and find theybasically comply with the applicable portions of Utah's Rules for Public Drinking Water Systems in R309-550. On this basis, Paradise Town Water System 2024 water line installation drawings and specifications are hereby approved. Paradise Town Water System has met the criteria in R309-500-7 to install water lines up to 16 inches in diameter and is not required to obtain Plan Approval or an Operating Permit for the qualified water line projects. Please note the following restrictions to this approval: 1. This approval does not apply to booster pump stations. 2. If minimum separation between water and sewer lines cannot meet the requirements in R309-550-8, an exception must be obtained prior to water line construction.This Approval expires on June 30, 2029. You must notify the Division if there is a change to standard installation drawings and specifications or the designated PE for design or hydraulic analysis during the term of this Approval. To continue using standard installation drawings and specifications for water transmission and distribution lines after the expiration date, you must submit a complete renewal application to the Division.Please maintain a copy of this letter with your permanent records for future reference.
