Hi Mark,
The DWQ letter dated December 13, 2023, (attached) requested a subsurface
investigation with a report due within 120 days (April 13, 2024).
Now that Pilot has requested oversight of this site by the DERR, and as per our previous
discussions, on Pilot's behalf, I would like to request an extension of this deadline to "fall"
2024.
The extension will allow the DERR to review the site and get caught up on what has
been done to date, and then once you are ready, I suggest we have a meeting to review
the site together, so that we can discuss and agree on a comprehensive approach to
assessing the site, versus doing lots of "mini" assessments pertaining to just individual
releases.
Please let me know if this extension is approved, and if you have any questions or
comments.
