Ken,
I have looked over the MMP and do not have any additional technical comments for UTA. I am happy to talk to you more if
you encounter issues that require another UTA revision. Otherwise, I have signed the QAPP (page 32/282) and the SAP
(page 163/282). I appreciate your help getting us to this point. Both EPA and DERR have been pushing to get this
document done so we can update the EC and EPA Memo before September.
If you agree with the final, please sign the QAPP and SAP to finalize the document and send it to everyone involved.
Once finalized, I will upload the file to our interactive map to make it public.
One more item that I need to address is that I will be moving out of my current role in CERCLA to take a management
position within the DERR PST Section so that I will be handing off the Pallas Yard project to Leigh Anderson. I am
confident she will do a great job, but if there are any questions, my number and email are still the same, and I would be
happy to help.

I trust Kayleen will now be able to proceed with getting EPA’s 2024 administrative process requirements moving forward.

Great progress!

To move forward, we just need two things:
To finalize the environmental covenant
Kimberlee, when do you think EPA will be able to see a draft? I know we have been waiting on the MMP to
finishing drafting.
To finalize the cease five-year review EPA memo
Ken and I have gotten an initial round of HQ review. I wanted to share the memo with you all in case you
had any comments. It’s a pretty straightforward doc. Once we finalize the EC, we can the memo officially
approved by HQ.
