Enclosed please find a copy of the proposedSTIPULATION AND CONSENT ORDER (SCO) and Penalty Narrative that will be available for public review and comment. In accordance with Utah Admin.
Code R315-124-34, the public comment period will last at least thirty (30) days and will run from [Public Comment Start Date] to [Public Comment End Date].
After consideration of public comments,the SCO may be presented to the Utah Waste Management and Radiation Control Board (Board) or the SCO may be revised for your consideration. If
the SCO is presented to the Board, the SCO will be presented as an informational item on April 11, 2024, in Salt Lake City and for final actionon May 9, 2024, in Salt Lake City. If the
SCO is approved by the Board, it will be sent to Big West Oil for signature.
The time frames in the SCO will become effective upon the signature date of the Director of the Division of Waste Management and Radiation Control.If you have any questions, please contact
