Box 144880 Salt Lake City, UT 84114-4880 RE: Class 2 Modification -Amendment to Additional Container Pumping Station and Add ability to Store Containers in E-4 Decant Area Construction Certification Clean Harbors Aragonite, LLC UTD 981 552 177 Dear Mr. Hansen, In accordance with Condition l.N of Clean Harbors Aragonite, LLC (CHA) Hazardous Waste Permit and per the DWMRC visit to CHA on April 9, 2024, CHA is submitting an amendment to the previously submitted construction certification notice that the new container pumping station and storage locations within Building E-4 have been constructed according to the approved design and plans contained in the modification request. This amended submittal will be in addition to the Construction Certification submitted to the DWMRC on April 2, 2024. The following documents have been enclosed: • Updated Attachment 7 Appendix 1 (Closure Cost C~lculations) DWMRC visit on April 9,2024 • Document showing Images of the new storage locations within Building E-4, as well as the redundant Drum Pumping Station Process Lines per DWMRC visit on April 9, 2024 I hereby certify under penalty of law that this document was prepared under my direct supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified personnel properly gather and evaluate the information submitted. A trailer can transport 80 containers so this could fit on one trailer. 730% added to tank farm capacity to account for flush to remove PCBs. 3 flushes of l0% by volume assumed. 'Assumed tanks would consist of l0,000 lbs. of metal scrap. Also assumed that scrap from pipe, pumps and strainers would equal the amount of the tank (10,000 lbs.) so the amount was doubled. Scrap metal will be disposed of by roll-off (12 tons per roll off) at Clean Harbors Grassy Mountain. 'Bulk liquids from the tank farm would be transported via rail to Clean Harbors Deer Park for Disposal. It is assumed that a rail car capacity would be 20,000 gallons.
