The inspection consisted of a Mill tour that was lead by you. The inspector made several observations at your facility and found no findings. Inspection Summary The inspecfion consisted of a tour of the Shootaring Canyon Mill facilifies and tailings. Due to the inacfive status of Shootaring Canyon Mill, no work activity was observed within the Mills restricted area and no findings were observed. Inspection Item Mill Tour: Uranium One staff took the inspector on a tour of the Shootaring Canyon Mill's facilities. Tihe inspector observed that the entrance to the Mill and the gates to the Mills restricted area were properly posted. All of Uranium One's personnel wore proper dosimetry within the restricted area of the Mill and their dosimetry was kept in the Mills office building when not being used. The Inspector observed that proper radiological instrumentation was being used, maintained and calibrated. It was also observed that all personnel surveyed themselves before leaving the restricted area. Uranium One staff also took the inspector to the tailing cells. The inspector observed in the upper cell where the tailings are stored and viewed the grid for the NESHAP air sampling.
