VCP/BROWNFIELDS SECTION – SITE VISIT REPORT

SITE NAME: Eckman Midgley DATE: October 7, 2025
PROJECT MANAGER: Leigh Anderson
PURPOSE OF VISIT: Annual Site inspection and checking the area around the completed development
work and excavation. Sandy City has built some sediment settling vaults for some vac trucks.

Site is much as it’s been in previous years. There was an older asphalt patch
from some utility line maintenance south of the main building. Excavation of the vault and drainlines near
the northwest corner of the site has been completed, and stockpiled material has been placed back in the
excavation and capped. The landscaping strip along the road to the east was mostly replaced last year by
gravel, though a portion still needs a gravel cap. This year native plants have been added to the area with
drip irrigation. The larger sod area in east of the building but west of the sidewalk will remain until Sandy
finalizes their plan to replace it with more naturalized plants and materials.
